(Everytime a plane banked too sharply on take off or landing
I prayed for a crash, or a mid-air collision...anything)
Now the sky is taking over us
And this sirens sending shards through the earliest hour
And the movement of crossing the pavement
is breaking fingers and bones.

This face is getting greyer
These eyes are swelling up
This face is getting paler
"I think she's had enough"

But something cancels special
And my train is leaving early
