Didn't (poem)
Emilie autumn
I didn't want the details
Of your pathetic life
How you wished for a lover
And wouldn't mind a wife
I didn't want to picture
A man so sad and weak
I cherished my illusions
Until I heard you speak
I didn't want to ponder
The reasons you confessed
Your torrid past relations
I never would have guessed
That I would seek my refuge
For that I'm angry still
I didn't want to know you
And now I never will
Of your pathetic life
How you wished for a lover
And wouldn't mind a wife
I didn't want to picture
A man so sad and weak
I cherished my illusions
Until I heard you speak
I didn't want to ponder
The reasons you confessed
Your torrid past relations
I never would have guessed
That I would seek my refuge
For that I'm angry still
I didn't want to know you
And now I never will
