The road to emmaus

Just a few hours after the sunrise,
On the resurrection day,
Two men from emmaus walked and talked along their way
When all of a sudden from out of nowhere,
Came a one that seemed to be so wise
Unbeknownst to either,
They were talking with the christ.

On the road to emmaus they met Jesus,
And he came and spoke to them
He opened the scripture,
So their eyes could plainly see
That he was the only god, jehovah,
Conquering death at calvary

Just to hear the savior teach

From beginning to the end
But I have the spirit living within me,
And he teaches me the word

That I have fellowship with him.
