I love the pitter-patter
I hear upon my window pane
My troubles cease to matter
When I hear the lullaby of the rain
I've talked with every flower
That blooms along the country lane
They're happy in a shower

Although the rain may be teeming
I'm cozy and warm
And I catch up on my dreaming
All during the storm

Some like their weather sunny
Come cloudy days, and they complain
