Perfect on paper

There are so many reasons why I should say I'm sorry
Should I start with the cheating and end with the lying

And I tried to chalk it up to low self esteem
I guess my selfishness got the best of me

And I tried to tell them all in each interview
That I've been nothing but good to you

And I don't hate myself just the things I do
But I hope you see that I'm trying to improve
