In the beginningEverything was dark there was no form
Let us go back to the very beginning
The spirit of God was moving' over the water
Before he decided to create everything in it
He was just west coastin' lookin' at the water
There was no life, everything was void
There was no wind, there was no sky, no dry land
And there was no noise
Said let there be light & then there was
It shined so bright that the lord was pleased
The he separated and named day and night
And all of that on day O.N.E

Then he separated the water below from above
And he called the water that is up there sky
And that's moisture, and how the rain drops
And that's when we see the earth cry
And that was day two
And on day three that's when the land started taking it's shape
Then he made seeds that would turn into plants
Some of them to bare fruit & then some to bare grain
Then on the fourth day he made two lights
So they could rule over day & the night
Not the same light that he made on day one
See these are the lights that define our time
Days & years, hours and minutes
Sun & the moon & the stars in the sky
Tell us what time it is no matter where we at
No matter where we go they will shine

On day 5, God made life
Fish in the sea & the birds in the air
God blessed em all, told em to fill up the place that they live
So that's just what they did
Then came the animals that walk on land
Domestic & wild, small & large
Created with a simple thought from the architect
The only real charles in charge
And that was day six, but yet he wasn't done
All of that was made right before he formed us
Cause on that last day, that's when it would all change
And he'd create the things that he loves
Let us make man in our image, let them resemble us

Formed from the dirt, that's why we are
Ashes to ashes & dust to dust
He put us in charge of every living thing
Told us have children & multiply
That's why a man & a woman
Will only be able to ever produce this life
This is who we are, this who we’ve been
No matter how these times may change
God is still God, man is still man
Power is still within Jesus' name
Hail the creator the one who is light
The God who separates day from the night
One who distinguishes wrong from the right
For him I easily would give my life

Vamos voltar ao começo
O espírito de Deus estava se movendo "sobre a água
Antes ele decidiu criar tudo nele
Ele estava apenas a costa oeste olhando para a água
Não houve vida, tudo foi anulado
Não havia vento, não havia céu nem terra seca
E não houve barulho
Disse que houvesse luz e depois houve
Ele brilhou tanto que o senhor ficou satisfeito
O ele separou e nomeou dia e noite
E tudo isso no primeiro dia
Então ele separou a água abaixo de cima
E ele chamou a água que está lá em cima céu
E isso é umidade, e como a chuva cai
E é aí que vemos a terra chorar
E esse foi o segundo dia
E no terceiro dia é quando a terra começou a tomar forma
Então ele fez sementes que se transformariam em plantas
Algumas delas para descascar frutas e depois algumas para descascar
Então no quarto dia ele fez duas luzes
Então eles poderiam governar o dia e a noite
Não é a mesma luz que ele fez no primeiro dia
Veja estas são as luzes que definem nosso tempo
Dias e anos, horas e minutos
Sol e a lua e as estrelas no céu
Diga-nos que horas são, não importa onde estamos
Não importa para onde vamos eles vão brilhar
No dia 5, Deus fez a vida
Peixe no mar e os pássaros no ar
Deus abençoou em todos, disse para preencher o lugar que eles vivem
Então é isso que eles fizeram
Então vieram os animais que andam em terra
Domestic & wild, small & large
Criado com um simples pensamento do arquiteto
O único charles real responsável
E esse foi o sexto dia, mas ainda assim ele não terminou
Tudo isso foi feito logo antes de nos formar
Porque naquele último dia, é quando tudo mudaria
E ele criaria as coisas que ele ama
Deixe-nos fazer o homem à nossa imagem, deixe-os assemelhar-se a nós
Formado a partir da sujeira, é por isso que somos
Cinzas às Cinzas pó ao pó
Ele nos colocou no comando de todos os seres vivos
Nos disse ter filhos e multiplicar
É por isso que um homem e uma mulher
Só será capaz de produzir esta vida
Este é quem somos, quem nós fomos
Não importa como esses tempos possam mudar
Deus ainda é Deus, o homem ainda é homem
O poder ainda está dentro do nome de Jesus
Salve o criador aquele que é leve
O deus que separa o dia da noite
Aquele que distingue errado da direita
Para ele eu facilmente daria minha vida
