It seems like some good people do get messed up on their chances
Ain't no doubt it's all been planned out before they were born
Always goin' up that long downhill road always at the little end of the horn

Oh the little man don't count they look right over his head

Just somebody's leanin' post everybody's underdog

It seems like people would get tired of lookin' down on people
It's seems like people got to have someone to kick around
