I do alright in the daylight
Sunshine seems to keep you off my mind
As evening shadows fall around me
Well it won't be long before I cross the line

When the sun goes down well I go crazy
I feel like a stranger in this town
That lonesome feeling overtakes me
Heartaches come around when the sun goes down

Each day I ask the same old questions
What did I do the night before
My friends give me the same old answers
And I promise I won't do that anymore
