Regret

I came home from a movie last night
You were not home
I was so scared
I searched through every room in the house
Some movement in the mirror
I was so scared

I couldn't be certain my feet were in the hall
My shaking hands followed
Along the wall
Then it came time for me to relax
So i went to sleep
Wanting you back
But d don't know
Cause that would seem weird

Cause all i used to say is
That thing's out of curve
I forgot to tell you
About the good things that i heard

I couldn't quite tell when the news had arrived
It didn't seem urgent at the time
But before i knew it
It all came to a head
