Deja vú
Poesie noireToo many cigarettes, too much to drink
And you realize how easy it is to forget
To sit in a tub and sink
Your mind is poisoned, your thoughts are confused
Nothing is new, everything is boring and done
I know how it feels to be used
You can't open a door when the key is gone
And you searched for inspiration in the darkest places
But all you found was déjà vu
You're sick of staring at all the same faces
The so well-willing, so-called friends
Help me to escape this heaven, this hell
Forgotten desires and driep-up well
Maybe the name will ring a little bell
But not loud enough to regret
And you only want to say what you feel
But sometimes it's better to lie
Even if your instinct tells you to be real
No one even knows why you cry
I've seen it so many times before and I don't
Want to look at it any more
I've heard it so many times before and I don't
Want to hear it any more
