Like rain (luke 15:11-32)

Resting in love divine
Hearing the voice of Him who spoke Creation
Filled with the joy of my salvation
Like a new born child
For this is my inheritance, this was my destiny
My Father's blessing
How did my love for the world ever lessen
My love for You O God.

Like rain, like rain
Come flood my soul again
And clear my eyes, that I may know
My hearts delight again

There in my Father's house
You know that I would be for You a servant only
Than to be blessed with the wealth
Or vain glory of all the world
So may I return again
To where my unworthiness by grace is hidden
Covered by the blood of the Lamb
Who was given to bring me home again.
