My little friend

There you're standin' on the sidewalk with your suitcase in your hand
all your stuff's already in your new flat and alone I can't affort this one's rent.

but now you say it's over finally and the last thing you do's

My little friend loves wet and warm places
He doesn't know love and he doesn't see faces.
Whenever the target's female and true
he takes over and makes me forget about you.
My little friend's ego's getting' bigger and bigger
as soon as someone pulls the trigger
and sometimes he just needs a helpin' hand

Well, in the earlier days I thought, I could win this fight
but his will's gettin' stronger every day and night.
When he smells a cat his alarmclock rings.
I feel like a puppet on barbwire strings.
So all I can do's to accept the truth
- at the borderline you ain't got nothing to lose!
