this wall of expectations to fit into the congregation
dress codes attitudes brought to you by some money
hungry corporation its all make-believed
a rebellion cut to fit and made
acceptable is this really us or are we
becoming just another product formed and confined
by the expectations of others
of who we are and what we should do
but if we only aimed to please you
we would still be playing the same old songs as yesterday
and if you dont understand what i mean...
