Green light, yellow light, stop

I've walked these streets every night
So much
I can even tell the traffic lights
Will change on my count of 3
1-2-1-2-3, yeah

Green to red
And back again
So timed
Watching like pulling teeth

So I will fight the bad fight
On what I'll call the good team
But in a bad fight are there good teams?

So I'll fight your bad fight
On two of your bad teams
I'll lose
I'd put my money on you...

I guess I don't know your lights so well
Maybe one day I will
