Thinking about our storm
Alka föxxAs i've stared into your sarcastic eyes
They didn’t mean to realize how much
I was tired from finding answers that never existed
You believed in every word
They told you
Poor child, can’t you see?
That trust can’t be sold
And you can’t give it like a gift
The candle blew out
My patience was drowned inside this flood
It may be possible that i’ve regretted some words
But my pride shouted louder than you
In time i just want
To think about
Everything we were
Through good and bad times
It was true until it died
Our rose were filled up with thorns
To the point we couldn’t grab it anymore
And thinking about our storm
You just can’t deny how better is now
A friend came to me and asked about you
And i was really tired
'bout the same old questions they've made
But the answer, was always the same:
You believed in every word
They told you
Poor child, can’t you see?
That trust can’t be sold
And you can’t give it like a gift
Our rose were filled up with thorns
To the point we couldn’t grab it anymore
And thinking about our storm
You just can’t deny how better is (now!)
Closing out that door
For windows which seems like new hopes
And thinking about our storm
You just can’t deny how better is now
The rain has settle it down
And look the harvest we had found
Epiphany knocked on our door
And made our days happy as before...
Our rose were filled up with thorns
To the point we couldn’t grab it anymore
And thinking about our storm
You just can’t deny how better is
Closing out our door
For windows wich seems like new hopes
And thinking about our storm
You just can’t deny how better is now
