Eerie ascent

We wandered through the deepest depression
We dwelled in the obscurest hours of darkness
We ate from the tree of knowledge (of good and evil)
We drank the poisoned wine

Through suicide rituals and unbearable pain
We just found our withered blossom
A blossom which is willed to rise again
To control and to annihilate

A rebirth through the most powerful wisdom
A result of the most confusing sin
A wicked grin to the terrific past
With a reminiscent tear on ruined flesh

Without emotions for the weak ones
The blossom grows to a never seen beauty
To a god within our souls
To a force with infinity
To a serpent unwilled to bow
