Broken wings
BlueboxIn free fall I felt the breeze enfold me
I thought to be the closest path
That would lead me to eternity
A shortcut to freedom
Coming to the final point I noticed that the
Darkness tricked me
I felt higher than I really was off the floor
The pain involved me stronger
The silence I imagined to found
Was exchanged for the cries of despair
The tranquility of the mind by an even greater agony
The detachment of the body by broken bones
In the midst of the blood I observed adhered
Feathers
The strangest thing was to notice that they
Came from me
My arms were different from what I knew
Something bothered, my back hurts
When I was able to get up, I was surprised
To see that I had wings
But they were broken
How to fix what was done?
How can I get up and move on?
All I imagined was that my destiny was not
Down, but above
Fly towards the sky, go to infinity
That would elevate me, give me peace
After some time, the wings were fit for flight
I threw my body toward the sky, as high as I
Could
It was still not enough
I climbed higher and higher, the sunshine
Was incredible
I needed to get closer to see him
The flight could not be controlled any more
Again in free fall, the lights went out
The sun no longer shone
The glow that was contemplated was no longer
Made by me, but by those who were on firm ground
Neither below nor above
Where they should be
They contemplate my burning body putting me back
On the path from which I tried to
Escape
