I only have time to take a piss, there must be more to live than this
I caught Sally in a lie I caught her with another guy
She promised they was only friends, that is where our story ends

Last night I went to the bar, I walked there, it wasn't far
I knew nobody in the place but I wore a disguise just in case

So much rain is falling down the crops have rotted in the ground

Told him go to pick some hay, next thing I heard him drive away

Doctor's taken awful sick he's scheduled to die next week
He's already blind and out of his head but I'd never thought we'd see him dead
This town has gone from bad to worse sometimes I think it must be cursed
These folks are ruled by greed and fear we need some law and order here
