Corrosion. decay. spiralling down, it will end
With passing glances and errant smiles,
Morbidity grows
Time may pass but this gaping wound
Won't be whole

Carve our hearts out
Still they're beating
Crush the life out
Leave them bleeding
Lust is a liability
And trust is in short supply
We fill our cavity with contempt
And let our loathing bleed out
