I used to dream about making madd dividends/mansion in the hills pushing a black Benz/prominence to the point of total dominance/taking over as if I had preeminence/just give me a mic was gonna take it there/had the drive of a bull charging with no fear/mission was pleasing the world with my delivery/ensuring I would be a part of rap history/but over time I would find myself uneasy/cuz I would hear the voice of God saying please me/and no peace did settle in til I did obey/so I surrendered my all and let Him lead the way/and now I realize it ain't about the money and fame/I'm doing what I've gotta do here to get my name/in the Lamb's Book of Life don't want a tragedy/I'm operating in the wisdom of God and now I'm free/cuz I know that .
