innocence that you saved
never felt so cold
in a dreams you're moaning
innocence is gone

next time I'll sleep with my eyes open
next time I'll trespass to my sleep
into a state of mind where man meets his souls misery
into the field of death and this time I'll sence its needs

each daylight saves me of a life
I've left in nightmares behind
sometimes they just rape my mind
but sometimes tempted I just close my eyes

as I write this note once terrible secret fades
this pen bleeds my thought
and paper hunts my soul

will you feel it can you reckognize it
is this how you wanted to feel
to be blank as a mute man's scream
hollow as a rotten mind
forgotten as a dead man's fear
