A midnight snooooze

I got me a nice old rockin chair
And bought it at a country fair
I tried it out and it squeaked
Like hell and I don't really care

Because I like to rock and puff
On pot,winkin at the moon
Playin my bandjo,sluggin down booze
Chewin on tobacco, sendin juice to a spittoon
And feelin woozy from the booze
Slowin down the bandjos tune
Slappin a high five to the moon
Gettin ready for a midnight snooooze

My naggin wife woke me up too soon
Bitchin on and grabbed my squeakin chair
She freaked out like a big black bear
And took my bandjo too.
To calm her down
With no one around
I said how do you do
And ran to the country fair
To get her a dam rockin chair.

With all that boozin and snoozing going on
Who cares if our chairs squeak like hell
While puffin on pot, winkin at the moon
