i'm searching for an ounce of what you tried to mold me into.
why has it been so long since I have seen my own face?
maybe it's because you've had your hands over my eyes
to shield away the heartbreak and sadness you were putting me through

i cant be a part of you anymore,
even though you were never a part of me
i feel like it's all ending
and a part of me dies

just do me one favor
if you have something beautiful in your life
cherish it as much as possible
because one day it might not be there anymore
