The darkest crime
In twilights embrace
Embrace this sepulchral landscape
Dead ashes buried deep in the ground
Their voices whisper within memory
But shame and guilt gag our mouths
Stand here lost in painful reflections
This horrible silence tears soul apart
Just like the desperate cries of those
Suffocating in the gas chambers
What once was the factory of death
Remains as a cemetery without graves
And nothing can reveal
How much they suffered
Maybe paved with fear alleys
-unspeakable hell
Thousands of bodies devoured by fire
The highest sacrifice for the sake of sick ideals
This innocent blood flowing in the waters
Still poisons our wells
Where vigilance sleeps
Nightmare begins to reign
Dead ashes buried deep in the ground
Their voices whisper within memory
But shame and guilt gag our mouths
Stand here lost in painful reflections
This horrible silence tears soul apart
Just like the desperate cries of those
Suffocating in the gas chambers
What once was the factory of death
Remains as a cemetery without graves
And nothing can reveal
How much they suffered
Maybe paved with fear alleys
-unspeakable hell
Thousands of bodies devoured by fire
The highest sacrifice for the sake of sick ideals
This innocent blood flowing in the waters
Still poisons our wells
Where vigilance sleeps
Nightmare begins to reign
The Second World War appears to be one of the blackest cards in the world's history. The ruthlessness of the Nazi regime took its bloody toll in almost every country in Europe and also in several remote places on Earth. Concentration camps and, above all, the Holocaust became the greatest tragedies humanity has ever witnessed. Nowadays, when those terrible events seem to be but a bad memory, the extreme right movement attracts much attention again in democratic states. Such activities in Austria, Germany or Poland are only a top of an iceberg. We shall not allow the story repeat!
