Shadows of light

The darkness of the night
Has filled the blackened air
With evil and sorrow

In the valley of the wings
Where shadows speak of tomorrow

The everlasting light
Will shine again
The sun will shine again

The lightning cleft the sky
And tore the silence apart
Screaming with rage

And the mirror in the sky
Reflects the light of our destiny

When twilight greets the day
The shadows will not return
Until another day
