Winter solstice

Enslaved to an icy grave
Darkness overwhelms my soul
Dismal thoughts ponder life
The ice age has now begun
Winter solstice, the darkest of fear
Unseen terror, frozen demise
Tundra fire, the burning chill
Light is gone forever
Why must life end like this
An ice cold wasteland in hell
Can children's tears melt this grief
And save us from ourselves
Triumphant winter cold succumb
Eternal frost solidifies earth
Glaciers form across the land
A frozen death for all mankind
