Shadow girl

Out in the dark, moon-hunting and shooting stars,
Beneath the sky, a pale shadow girl
in white-light camouflage.

Out on the beach, sky-walking,
moon-touched, star-kissed,
She's in control, the pale shadow girl,
the white-light terrorist.

All the beauty of the night,
Creeps in and fades away.
All the beauty of the night,
Creeps in then fades away.

And in the dawn, exhausted, the sky blood-red,
She turns for home, this pale shadow girl,
to sleep among the dead.
