The crude venom of the past
The drinking, gambling, brawling, whoring.
Effective,yet so blunt.
Defective, through lacking control
Wherefore the blinded palace raises to unleash
New intoxication upon (the) squalid huts.

Prevent dreaded revolution!
Tame the will that opposes thourgh the mind*

Dawn breaks while a finer venom brews by old recipe:

Deceit, guilt,
Innocent death
Refined with forged meaning,
Embedded in a strange reading
Not to be decoded by the clueless whom conceit is to be gifted for aeons to come

Gently alter the state of mind,
A more tranquil conduct evoked
Preserve the corporeal form,
Procuring chores once despised
With a new found smile
Born out of a torpid mind
Benighted by promises
Offered in this finer venom
