The windmill
Perry leopoldPouring out its tide
I lay awake in silence
In the morning light
And thinking of the night before
Of things that were foreseen
Though I knew but little more
Of dreams I've known
As the rains keep on falling down
To weave a tale that you can row
And as the room turned pale
Eye saw there in the window
Halfway drawn in the night
There in the window was the shadow of the light
As I approached the open cavern in the light
I felt the steps descending
Merging with my sight
And when I was 'bout halfway down
I turned to find the trail
Saw behind me threefold worlds in blue
in blew...
in blew...
Everything comes and everything goes to you...
Everything goes and everything comes to you...
What can you see in the natural light
When the morning brings dawn into view
What can you see at the end of the day
When the night takes the light from our view
Ocean of Vision...
Ocean of Vision...
As the rains keep on falling down
To weave a tale that you can row
And as the room turned pale
Eye saw there in the window
Halfway drawn in the night
There in the window was the shadow of the light
shadow of the light...
shadow of the light...
