Paper airplanes
Phil bensenanother late night sinkin like
a storm
the crowd is left and i'm all alone
and i saw a jet plane
light up the night and i jumped on its wing
and all of my troubles were left in my way
and i opened my eyes and i'm i the same place
and i thought i was
once a bird
careless as the days rolled past
we live and learn
and now it seems i'm fallin fast
cause paper airplanes always seem to crash
and paper airplanes always seem to crash
your children play in the courtyard
you set 'em free but they're not far
it's a shame that time just beats away
it steals their breaths and prepares their graves
and i saw a face on the train
scared me to death and everything changed
a young man walks over to the grave
and soon he'll be dead, i'll be takin his place
and i thouhgt i was
once a bird
carelass as the days roll past
we live and learn
and now it seems i'm fallin fast
cause paper airplanes always seem to crash
and paper airplane always seem to crash
curious minds
we all seem to swindle our way back
and we run so fast
we're still tryin to get there
we know you can
and i thought i was
once a bird
careless as the days roll past
we live and learn
and now it seems i'm fallin fast
cause paper airplanes always seem to crash
and paper airlplanes always seem to crash
and paper airplanes always seem to crash
