This mornin' it was over you don't love me anymore
All I can do is sit and stare as you walk out the door
It's hard for me to realize this time you're really gone
But I guess I must admit it I've never been this much alone

And those bright red neon lights shine softly in my lonely room
And below I hear the people laughing in a crowded room
I wish that I could join them laugh and dance and drink a few
But I couldn't keep from crying it'm my first night without you
