All the while your faint hearted approach to life
has been your self restriction, your affliction is addiction
they will turn your words into contradictions

and now you try to run, away from truth, away from the gun
no matter where you go, you're only running from yourself

now meanwhile your addictions thrive, waiting for what others hand to you
