Who has believed it?
To whom is it revealed?
This common man, is who we’ve waited for
Despised and rejected, He bore our sins and grief
Crushed and bruised, by His stripes we now are healed
we now are healed!

He was hung on a cross between two thieves and buried in a rich man’s tomb
Giving His life, an atonement for sin, He died for me, He died for you!
All we like sheep have gone astray
(We’ve turned to our own ways)
He took on Himself the sins of the world
(He bore it all for me)
He was bruised, so now I am made whole

But this was not the end
The grave was not strong enough to hold Him!
He conquered death and hell
He rose to live again

He paid our ransom to break our chains, with His sacrifice of love
At His feet you will find, everlasting life!

Have you received it?
Have you been redeemed?
He paid your price, now you can be free

He was pierced for our transgressions
He was crushed for our iniquities
Won’t you believe Him today?
Won’t you accept Him?
The light of the world is reaching out for you!
Let it go! Lay it down! Hallelujah, my Jesus conquered the grave!
