Sinmara

Mountains of quivering bones

Sinmara
Black skies overlook the earth
Coiling cancerous chaos lurks behind crimson clouds
The tainted nectar of life, a womb impregnated by death
Ominous silence, maddening, disquieting

The wailing cries of the trumpets pierce the air
An unearthly resonance sublime in resplendence
Harken the bearer of woeful revelations
As the morningstar’s descent draws near

As the final trumpet beckons
The coming of the day of wrath
The blazing star descends
Collapsing upon the waters
Beyond fiery skies

Behold the manifold horrors of the yawning abyss,
As they spew forth in sulfurous torrents
A tapestry of venomous fumes slithering, suffocating
Skin peeling, veins torn asunder
Lacerated eyes draped from sullen faces
Pillars crumbling, the earth penetrated
Rivers run black with poisonous blood

Ascend chthonian ones
Descend exalted ones
Usurp terrestrial thrones
Upon mountains of quivering bones

For within the heart of life beats the pulse of death
Transcended in splendour
Twofold poles in singularity wed
In primeval collision the two become one
As earth is consumed by the wrath of the sun

As the final trumpet beckons
The coming of the day of wrath
The blazing star descends upon the earth
Collapsing upon the waters
Beyond fiery skies
