you can't break the strings
in our olympic hearts

i took a stroll down to the harbour
made a note, sipped some tea
and what i wrote to this day have no idea
the wind came and blew it away

i took a boat out to the island
and looked across the u.s.a.
and when i thought to this day i've had it made
