Ode to dead sun

Drifting in the night
Dead stranger on the cosmic road
Moving through the night
Not able to explode

Wandering in the night
Calm in the starless sea
Invisible in blight
Robed in black serenity

Stellar remnant
Cold and forgotten
In death embrace
Baned to be untrodden

Through the infinity of space
Eternally in motion
And dead so long ago
Pale ghost of former star
