Everyday is halloween

well, i live with snakes and lizards
and other things that go bump in the night
cause to me everyday is halloween
i love to play in the dark
and stay out of the light

why can't i just go trick or treat
why can't i take it for the sweets they give
why can't they give them all to me
happy halloween to the whole wide world

well, any time, any place, any where that I go
all the people seem to stop and stare
they say, 'why are you dressed like it's halloween?'
i say, 'because it's the best day
- of the year!'
