I can hear thunder in the distance
Just like a roaring sound
In the howling wind someone's crying
A war song tunes in the night
I can see lightning in the distance
It's like a bursting star
I just can't keep my eyes open
Watching that flashing light

Did you hear the sound of thunder?
Did you see the lightning strike?
Seems like everybody's awake
In this restless night...
