We had the world in our hands and we were never letting go.
We had our lives all figured out.
There was nothing that we didn't know.
Years of this situation have given me the strength to close (to close my eyes at night).
It's not what we would do.
It's what we must do that shows (that shows us who we are).
Tonight i sit next to nothing feeling the loss of the sun as the rays of life leave me.
As the rays of life leave me.
In an instant i collide and as i meet the ground,
The only feeling i have is loss of the life that i once knew.
Heaven's not a given it's a gift by the soldiers of light,
Clinging to their swords. paving the way to our salvation,
Leading us from damnation.

I say prayers behind screams,
I'm calm i can finally breath, in twenty-six years i will know home at last.
I scream prayers to the crowd. i scream prayers to an unappealing crowd.
Now that i've done this i can feel this. i tore us down. i tore your faith down.
Now i suffer. this is for keeps. we can't be consumed by our petty differences.
