Sleep swerves

Driving home in lousy weather
Either way it's all the same
You're always two streets down & state lines away

And i could run around your empty room
And wave my arms & scream at you
But these days i'm not sure what's left to say

When we've realized
That nothing is exciting like we'd hoped that it would be
When we're not 15 or unafraid
We're just a tired in-between
