Since the start, I've always had my doubts
There have always been some things for me to figure out
You think the world of me and now I think even less of myself
Pull me apart, I have nothing left to say
Take what you need from me and just throw me away
Now I'm always keeping one eye open
I guess I'm just scared of losing everyone

There's a time and a place for a new name
No longer will I ever stay the same
It's always been hard to breathe but that's just me
I'm always writing these words when I can't sleep

But for now, I'll keep a smile on my face
I'd be just fine if I never made mistakes in the first place
