In the midst of happiness

Never intending to make a lie
I tried hard to realize our wishes
Against my will i had to get through
Right in front of you with tears
I could have done much more for you
But i lost something
Something got lost
And it made me sick
Something got lost
Happiness makes me forget something

We, the ones who never know real threat
Some would even be greedy for blood
We, the ones who never know real struggle
Happiness makes us forget something

We don't make sense that this very thoughts
Arises from the midst of happiness
And even in this situation
We are longing for something
As long as we lead a life
