I'm sitting here alone in my house
ain't got no money, I'm a stone broke

might as well get pissed
forgot, I got no money not even for a drink
so it's down to me and the four walls

can't say there too much to
talk about anyway
I'm frozen to the bone
and I can't think straight.

Woke up this morning
decided to dress
brushed my teeth and even combed my hair
thought a little breakfastwouldn't be
out of text
started the searching and I couldn't find
a piece of bread

Got an empty tommy
got a hole in my stomach
got to fill it one way or another.

Think tomorrow I get myself a job
maybe in the office
nine till five sound real good
landlords knocking at the door
pretend that I'm not in
ain't got no more excuses
don't have the stomach to face him
