A lynx in the tall grass

i come here for the shadows
that protect me from the light
in the summer through the nighttime
i wander around the hills

i see a lynx in the tall grass
still, waiting for the wind
to come and push the
leaves down

this fortress is holy
i could never understand
the force of will is useless
all these secrets are better kept
