Forest fortress
Invernessi heard him scream through the night
giving his heart away to a rose
and on the tip of her loveliest thorn
the last note of his voice could be seen
and when his melody ceased
all the trees bent and cried seven tears
and from these tears a river sprung
there was never any silence in the forest again
over the distant shadows i see it gleaming
against the windows all in rows of life
my fingers in my dreams are full of dirt
and the nightingale sings for our imagination
green as it is there, here will never be
my love can show its colors to anyone
in so many ways can it finally catch a breath
and see the destruction it has caused upon this
giant monsters of metal and sand will rise
there used to be life here now it's maps and dust
so i'm trapped here between these creatures
staring me down and i can't sleep with this noise
i make my own to drown in and dream of love
a realm of love around this fortress in the forest
beckons the only fitting end without hesitation.
turn off life support.
